Day Six - what does the workout involve?

So this is Day Six of the ten years of creation.

I'm going to divide this day up, in a way, into little packets, rather than one long video about all kinds of my ideas about so many different things.

So this video is going to focus on my workout routine, and especially today.

I do one workout a week with barbells at the Y. Then there are two other kettlebell workouts.

The plan has been adjusted this week so that I do certain movements, for example, football, front squats, several sets building up to a set of low reps at as much weight as I can possibly do, and then cut that back a little bit and do three more sets.

I did football front squats. I did incline bench press. I did trap bar deadlifts, and I did bent over rows, and I did a sauna afterwards.

Again, what am I trying to create? I'm trying to create the most healthy person that I could be so that I can keep doing my work.

And I've been very happy with this process I've been going through with my friend Nathan. It's really worked well and I feel like right at this moment I may be on the verge of getting stronger than I ever have been.

I ask myself, Is it possible for me to keep getting stronger? Or even get a little bit stronger?

And I think it is possible.

One of the things that we are working on is pull-ups, but there's a lot of other kind of movements that you have to do to get good at pull-ups. I want get a baseline of how I'm doing with that.

I mostly wanted to say what an investment of time this is! And How much I need different kinds of rejuvenation and recovery in order to keep up the pace of it.

It's very fortunate that I have the cold plunge. That seems to be really helpful before the workout to get all those endorphins. I think it's neurepinephrine, maybe initially, it's a rush of kind of stimulating hormones that turn into dopamine, so that you have lots of motivation to do what you need to do.

And I've also been increasing the amount of creatine that I'm taking, which provides energy for the workout.

I'm just talking about the workout today, I wanted to mention it. It's significant. It ends up being a significant part of the day.

It's almost 100 degrees outside, and I rode on my bike over there, but taking the cold plunge ahead of time really helps.

All right, that's a little bit about a way to work out. It's the way that I use, and I'm open to questions!
