Day Ten - Announcing The New Website
Hi everybody.
I want to introduce you to my next 10 years of creation.
I put up a new website, and I am letting everybody know about it.
It is based on the general idea that I do not know how long I will be able to keep doing what I'm doing while having the intention to do what I do as long as I possibly can!
The 10 years started on the seventh of July, my birthday. We're 10 days in on this website, which you will see if you go to tenyearsofcreation.com ( I know, you’re already here, but this is serving multiple purposes!) or perhaps you will see, if you just find this post on some social media platform and you click on it, you'll arrive on basically the blog page where I'm posting something so far every day. Which is kind of crazy, because my creative process is one that builds over time, step by step, on little steps, but you will begin to get the gist of what I'm trying to put together.
I'm trying to raise my profile, such as it is.
I am attempting to make a movie which I can't tell you a whole lot about, except that it will be based on a lot of the footage that was shot last year in the park, and it will be more of a narrative fiction piece than a documentary. It will feature a cellist who plays in a park who would be tempted by an offer from an AI agent to make him immortal, and perhaps even more tempted by an angel of God to make him immortal, and yet he has to decide if perhaps he is simply human and must make his way as one does, as we humans do.
There are a number of different things I want to try to accomplish in the next 10 years, and this website is taking at least a first pass at describing those things. They will evolve - as we humans do! - and I am grateful for everyone who will see this and check it out.
You can get to know my mission a little bit better. Perhaps you will have thoughts or feedback or ideas, and there will always be some place to either leave comments or contact me.
This website is not meant to be my artist website, for people who want to hire me for a performance or to compose a musical portrait. Daniel Austin sperry.com, will continue to be that go to place.
But I do expect this website to be the place that I chronicle my daily work in unfolding the beauty that I hope to unfold, and it will also spell out some of the tools and resources that I need in order to make these things happen.
So for anyone who is able to contribute in any way, either on a monthly basis or towards one particular thing, that would be so great!
