Day Three - Homing in on the Music

 Okay.

I'm trying something different this evening.

It's probably around six. We're on July 9, the third day of the 10 years of creation.

I don't know whether I'm going to be able to keep this up. I'm just trying things, working things out, seeing what I can do.

There's a plane. There it is, right there, going overhead. Beautiful people flying, people flying in the air.

This is a quick report on today.

The main progress I've made is on practicing my pieces. I'm not sure I really need to break it all down. All I want you to know is that I am practicing my pieces, and I'm probably going to be able to start playing two or three of those pieces in the park tomorrow. That's my goal. That will be like part of my rehearsal. There's two other pieces that need more work for me to be able to get to that point, but I may be able to do the modifications on the backup tracks this evening. We're going to see how much progress we can make.

I have that piece of work that I need to do - my preparation for the actual performance.

I have: finishing getting the website ready to launch

and I have: whatever promotion needs to be done to be sure we get as many people out for the concert as possible.

And I feel pretty good about my progress.

It's slightly hair raising. You can see that my hair is getting risen up and stuff, but what a beautiful evening.

This is a good little break, and I'm glad to take this little break with you on the third day of the 10 years of creation.
